I would have had an album uploaded by now, but after 4 hours of waiting I was only at 128 out of 225 pictures and then figured out that facebook said it would take another 16 hours to upload. So I canceled it. We will get internet in our house on Monday, so I hope I can upload pictures much quicker on that wifi.
Here are some tastes of life in Cambodia so far!

A random statue of a dragon. There are a lot of them. 


We see monks everywhere, especially in the mornings when 
they go around and give people blessings 
if they pay them money. 


 Wat Phnom
A beautiful park with a Buddhist temple (also called a wat) at the top of the hill. We do a lot of ministry in 
this park because of the prostitution 
that occurs.



There are monkeys in the park! But apparently they try and steal your stuff.

prostitution and child trafficking that occurs here.

Most people that know anything about me know that I’ve always wanted to be a mom. Since I’ve been young, I knew that I wanted to have a family of my own some day. And hopefully a large one! Our Journey so Far...

          Some of you may still be wondering, why are Josh and Gretchen going to Cambodia? Well in my first official blog post, I'm going to try and explain this long, but awesome story about how God has brought us to the place we are at now.            My freshman year of college I went on a fall trip to Peoria, IL for "The National Missionary Convention (NMC)" (Now called "The International Conference on Missions") with Campus Christian Fellowship (CCF). My friend Kait Hall and I went to a break-out session about sex trafficking that was being put on by Rapha House (if you haven't heard of them, you should definitely check out their website: http://www.raphahouse.org/). Rapha House's mission is "to love, rescue, and heal children who have been rescued from trafficking and sexual exploitation." They have a safe house and a half-way house in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia.
